Slight of hand

He was almost as good as a magician throwing morsels of fruit, vegetables and ice into a powerhouse blender. Producing mousse(s), sorbets, smoothies and what not, the hardware was walking out the big box store.

Rhetorical question: If you mix excessive saturation with selected desaturation, does that make the color mix about right on average? Or does the blender have to go back to work?
