Now, as I see it......

Bringing in the sheaves

I woke to a beautiful, cold and bright morning.   The ground was frosty and there was a light mist in the air.  It was too good to stay indoors so I headed over to Blakeney and did the circular walk down to Cley and back around the salt marsh.  I wasn't the only one to have decided it was a good morning for a walk; quite a few people clearly had the same idea.

At Cley I noticed that the harvesting of the reeds had started.  One end of the marsh by the windmill had been cleared but there was still quite a lot to do.  It would seem that reed harvesting is not something done early in the morning as the tractor was sitting idle, waiting for the day's work to begin.
