I met an ex-colleague for lunch at the Royal Northern College of Music, then we saw Treasure Island, a Children’s Opera. It was a production with their students and 4 primary schools and what a joyous time those children must have had, helping write the songs and performing on stage! They’ll remember it for ever. Waiting for the bus back, I was pleased to see the iconic Johnny Roadhouse is still trading.
