Walk
I've been very busy in the past few days but, it was such a lovely morning, that I gave Django a longer walk. I wanted to get to two extreme points in the Estate, and my route between them took me through the farm. It's changed a lot since I was last there, since it's the "guest entrance" for the cottages they have to rent and, ultimately, Penicuik New House once it's refurbished as a wedding venue. There are a lot more gates, fences and signs, but we still managed to get through. There are also signs of work being don to build the glamping pods around the High Pond (see extra). It's going to be lovely when the people staying there discover that there are midges in Penicuik!
I was walking Django because A had the day at Mum's flat where it was "open house" for people to take things that they wanted. It's been interesting to hear her stories of people taking all they can - even the bottle of washing-up liquid and a part-used kitchen roll - and some being very particular.
Back home, I worked on my slides for a presentation to a major funder tomorrow evening. I have to give the impression that we've made more progress than we have.
