Seaside Suburbia

I went to a friend’s house today for a reading group meeting. It’s only round the corner in bungalow land. In the 1930s it was a golf course, and the only houses were big detached ones, for people who wanted to live on the edge of the course. Lovely blue sea and sky today but a cold easterly wind.
