Stayed with a friend next night at Appleby and had a lovely BBQ . Came away from there with lots of grapefruit plums etc to bring home.
Before we left the festival we were given a few interesting facts
There were 612 vans and caravans, 1128 adults, 148 dogs
The rugby club made 1300 dollars from people paying two dollars for a shower, the rugby club sold $5000 worth of hot meat sandwiches and hamburgers,  Collection for StJohns who were on site for the four days was$1518-30. The school sold books and ice creams never got those figures but know it would be thousands going on other years
This is a very small community and this is their fundraiser for the year. Takes a huge number of volunteers and they do a mighty job
