Erin is 3!

today my baby girl turned 3, how did that happen??? it seems like just yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital and started our life as a family.
she has changed our world and i wouldn't changed it for any thing.
she is smart, funny, beautiful, cheeky and stubborn. i love that she is so independent and strong willed, we could do with less strops but other that that she is just perfect.
she has so much love to give and idealises her baby brother.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIN, love you to the moon and back!!

we got up at a decent hour this morning with a very excited little girl. i love that fact that she now understands when new things are going to happen. she just couldn't wait to go down and open her present. she tore into her gifts at a good pace and we heard a lot of 'wow', 'wowsers' 'oh my gosh' and 'i love it!'
once she was done we headed off to the garden to reveal her main gift, a trampoline. she was on it within seconds and started bouncing away. we had to caleb on shortly after as couldn't hold him back much longer. it was a short play as we had to get ready to go out.

we went to drayton manor theme park for the day, most importantly thomas land. it was one of the best family days out that we have had. the weather was amazing and everyone had fun. the best thing was all four of us could go on the rides together which was great.
erin showed us just what a little dare devil she has becoming and even ended the ay on a roller coaster! the line was drawn when she wanted to go on a the log flume even though she was actually big enough i just knew that would be too much and plus everyone was coming off soaked!
Mr independent had to sit on his own on all the rides (next to us) and hold onto the lap bars, he showed no fear at all. but maybe he is just too young to understand fear yet. either way he loved it all.

we left the park after sending 6 hours there but it had flew past. erin was out within seconds of being in the car and that was her done for the night.

it had been a truly lovely day and the best way to spend with your baby girl when she turned 3!!
