Minnis Bay

Yesterday we decided to go north to Minnis Bay and have fish and chips for lunch.  Minnis Bay has a glorious stretch of sand from Margate all the way past Reculver towers.   I went for a quick walk along the sands towards the towers but quite frankly it was so bitterly cold that my hands were aching and l turned back towards the brasserie where we settled ourselves in for a delightful fish meal.  The main photo shows the beach with towers in the distance, the extra is of one of the 'arrays' of wind turbines out in the north sea helping the UK produce 56% of it's electricity.
