Bricking it in Winchburgh.
A mundane street, but not in these parts. Bare brick is quite rare, walls are more commonly rendered in Scotland. There was a brick and tile company based in the village, now long since gone, all that remains is a body of water where the clay was quarried around which a park is planned. By chance, our woodland dog walk some eight miles away I came across the extra, half a Winchburgh brick! I love it when things all come together.
Have a good weekend.
