Pink

No glorious sun today. In theory it is warmer as there is no frost but there is a biting wind instead. Good we got out in the sunshine over the last two days.

My lovely crocus patch looked glorious in yesterday’s sun but they are not opening today so I looked inside for my flower Friday blip. The bargain Lidl hyacinths are starting  to flower so I wondered about those but then I noticed the lovely sheen on the remains of the petals on last weeks tulips.
Bought two weeks ago I moved them out of the living room but they still didn't drop so I was reluctant to throw them out.
In the background you can see the first pink Hyacinth flower opening with two more to come.

We really enjoyed ‘A Complete Unknown’ yesterday. A great portrayal of Dylan’s unique style and music. Must get out that ‘Best of’ CD.

Today would have been my mother’s birthday. Another family celebration tomorrow where I will hopefully feature mum’s snowdrops.
