Souper...

....to Peebles to visit mum.  She seemed in decent fettle and was making batches of soup for my sis who's been ill this week. I've never seen one of these soup making thingies before, but I was most impressed with the results, and it self cleans too!

On my way home, I took a call from the roofer. He's been asked to sharpen his pencil on the estimate by our architect and he was phoning to say he'd look again at some of the assumptions. Our architect doesn't think he's taking the p1ss as such, he just feels he could be a bit more efficient. 

Nancy is up in Embra getting her haircut and meeting a friend for a natter. That usually results in a bottle of vino appearing. I'm on 'collection from the station duty', so I'm preparing for a late call.
