Another restaurant.

I had hoped to take a photo overlooking the lake at today’s restaurant but the weather was so dire I settled for an indoor blip. The place was decorated with fishing memorabilia and all sorts of fishing and seaside stuff even though we were many miles from the coast .
We were with J and M for lunch, a long overdue meeting and it was so good to catch up with them and get all the family news. Although we are in constant touch by phone and messaging, it is not the same as actually meeting. We should do it more often, although it is not often that they are both free on a weekday. We had dreadful journeys both ways with road works, diversions and heavy traffic, accompanied by miserable drizzly rain.
