Ferns???

Back in 2020 I told you about Kendal's connection with the formation of British Pteridological Society. Read about it and see the displays here.
Well now, the tubs of ferns that were all over the town have gone. Instead we have vertical displays of plastic ferns on the wall of one of the shopping alleys  sorry,  yards, Wainwrights Yard to be precise. 
Hence the Blip. But the vertical displays have no explanation linking the town with ferns, even plastic ones. But they need a lot less attention by the gardeners.
