Semi-Permanent

Hunting for things frozen in ice became a theme for the day. I found quite a few, now that the snow has gone, revealing the ice beneath which is also possibly thinning with thaw/refreeze cycles.

I attribute a sort of permanence to them, even though I know they will be released when the ice melts. It's as if they are frozen in time, saved from deterioration, their last gesture held still.

I'm also attracted to all the little details and a high key approach yielding pastel colours and soft texture.
