Desperation

I feel as though I’m wading through treacle at the moment, and every step I take requires a huge amount of effort. Just when I thought I was feeling a bit perkier over the past few days, the treacle has returned.

So by the end of the day the only photo I had was a phone snap of the smoked haddock bake that Smithers made for our supper and, delicious though it was, I decided that wouldn’t cut the mustard, so to speak.

Thus I made myself start a project that was much too challenging for my current mood. Here’s the result. These are the instructions from a kit I’ve just bought, which enables you to stamp a picture and then colour it using several different stencils, each of which builds up another depth of colour. I told you it was a silly idea, given how I’m feeling!

Anyway, here’s the end result after ten minutes of frustration, caused by trying to turn the stencils round until they were in exactly the right spot, which seemed almost impossible. 

Forgive my lack of comments at the moment, it’s all I can do to get my blip uploaded each day. Hopefully normal service will be resumed ASAP, but meanwhile many thanks for your patience with me.
