Little purse

A rather dull day with a big chill in the air. I took a walk to the next village and back this morning. I feel I've become very complacent about my daily walk. Really cold wind which wasn't anything like as bad once I got down the hill.
Not long after I got back home my friend Kath rang to see if I would like to go to Allendale with her. We are forecast snow on and off over the next week so she was going to top up on a few essentials. It was good to have a ride out with her and a catch up after her being out of action since the beginning of January. We shopped a few bits and then went for a coffee at the Forge. There is an attached little gallery selling various items, all of which would make lovely gifts. Kath spotted some small coin purses and said she had been searching for one for a while. I told her I would be happy to make one for her, so I made this one earlier this evening. I will give it to her in the morning while we are at the village hall.
This evening I have been checking train journeys for a trip to my daughter's in Suffolk in March.
