Working
The first of the shampoo relines is done. Seven of us work, and 7 hours for each of us, plus an extra hour for me. A total of 50 hours and we were under our time, we had 55 hours. Three new workers plus one that worked a few relines last year, plus 2 that have been working for a few years and myself. I had the 3 new ones working beside a more experienced worker. One nice thing, the store had already pulled most of the discontinued stock so we didn't have to worry about that. Plus they had already placed the new product on the shelves, we just had to find it as we needed it. The biggest issue, some of the shelf heights had to be adjusted, which meant moving things off every shelf except the bottom one.
My left shoulder has been aching sometimes this year, especially after a longer day. I notice it tonight because shampoo is heavier than nail color and cosmetics. I just hope that I don't get frozen shoulder again.
Some of the snow had melted off the truck by the time I got up this morning. There was about an inch of slush on the driveway. I scraped some of it off around the truck, and put some salt down. I had to do some shoveling at the end of the driveway this morning to make it easier to get my truck out. My hill had been plowed and salted around 2 am, so the street was in good shape. I missed being outside on a mild, partly sunny day today.
A partly sunny day, but cooler forecast for tomorrow and more snow on Sunday, but they still don't know how much, anywhere from 2 - 15 cm.
