Early Light….

The mornings are closing in. It was quite dark at the start of my walk. Then the sun came up and lit the distant Wither Hills with gentle light. The day heated up to 28.4 in the shade. Son-in-law Steve called en route from Nelson to Picton and the interislander ferry. He took some items to Wellington for me. I fed him on Christmas Cake. I had some left over from the second one I made this last Christmas season.
I’ve got a head cold so I am lying low. I spent time pottering in the garden, tinkering with the irrigation systems.
