Sensory overload

We arrived in Singapore early morning and managed to deposit one bag at the airport, and another at our apartment. With the room not available till 3pm we were left to roam the streets.
We spent most of the time around the marina gawping at tall buildings, watching people and hiding from the sun. The shopping malls provided some air conditioned relief but we weren’t tempted in by the designer shops.
Just about surviving till 3pm we got in to our apartment, cool shower and straight to bed for a much needed snooze.
Feeling revived we hit the streets again in the evening for a wander to Little India. Friday beer and Indian snacks were required before back to the land of nod. Exhausted.
