Dubai Airport

Yes, another first for me!

We left Gatwick in the morning about an hour after schedule, because of a baggage problem, and flew forever until we landed at Dubai airport in the evening. It’s a fancy sort of place, and I walked around a lot to get my ten thousand steps in. We hadn’t had much sleep. Eventually we got on our second plane to Bengaluru, which also left late, owing to some people having left the plane unexpectedly. They crew did not even check the plane for bombs after the passengers they got off!

Honestly, you just can’t get the staff. Not even on the utterly gorgeous Emirates Airlines!
