Mostly Green

Another grim, grey day with occasional fine rain..I did manage a walk after lunch, fortunately it stayed mostly dry!!

Main blip is of a little mound of moss (a couple of centimetres across) which is growing on the top of a horizontal fence bar…I rested the camera on top of the fence post to get this shot…a little bit of grey lichen thrown in and the background is a multicoloured carpet of leaves.

Added an extra of some fabulous textured Elder tree bark, covered in green algae. I used the flash to light this as it was dark (ish) in the middle of a hedgerow.
