Understorey

We went for another forest and heathland walk at Harling - never sure whether it's technically East, West or even Middle Harling - and were surprised to find snowdrops in the bracken in this commercial forest. Not sure how they got there - did someone plant them? Was there a cottage there at some point in the distant past? - but they seem to be spreading. A nice surprise on an otherwise grey and misty walk.
