This is an art work by Hans Op de Beeck, the spotlight on the right is invisible on this photo. On the left you can see that it’s an installation, all grey.

On our first day in Scheveningen we all went to Voorlinden to see the Michael Borremans exhibition (A confrontation at the Zoo), the series of ceramic statues by Nick Cave (The devil - a life) and The Life of Things where this installation was one of the highlights.
After the museum we checked in at our hotel and were then the guests of Margot in her apartment (with a sea view). One of the things she served was a delicious Soto Ajam soup (all included; rice, soja, hard boiled eggs,…)
