This year's calendar

Made by one of my workplace's students. I've been enjoying this as a change from the calendars I have usually had in that place in my hallway.

I work, for the most part, with the most academically able within my setting. But I always enjoy an opportunity to support the students at the other end of our campus, this time at their annual Christmas Sale, and I continue be in deep awe of the work my colleagues do there. Happily, they are in deep awe that I enjoy spending my days the way I do and regularly tell me so...

This calendar was made by a most delightful young soul who beamed at me as I chose the calendar, saying how much I liked the colours, carefully told me the price, and chose the right coin from the two I offered. (These occasions always have targets to be met, as well as the bit of fundraising which is the main objective, this group's staff knew I'd be more than willing to help meet this target,  - and on this occasion it was to chose the correct coin from a choice of 2) 

Much excitement and congratulatory fist bumps all round, as this was the first time this had happened independently after a lot of in-class practise, so definitely well on the way for that target to be passed off!!
