The Steamboat, South Shields

A trip up to the North East to see Chester lose their first match after seven wins on the bounce. It was entirely the fault of blipper thechimp who decided to come down for his first game of the season :) It was just one of those days and the first goal got a wicked deflection and the second looked offside as it finished 2-0 to South Shields.

Nevertheless we had a good day out and did a few geocaches before visiting the award winning Steamboat pub close to the Tyne which is probably the best pub we have visited on our football travels this season. I noticed that it had featured in an episode of Vera.
