Heathrow Terminal 3 - Hilton Roof-top Garden

Parkrun this morning was great. New route, very well explained by the RD and B. Lovely to run with Cno1 at her pace. Enjoyed chatting to an ex-student who, on his own admission, 'plucked up the courage, finally', to chat with me. I taught him in Year 10 and 11 - 15 years ago. He is now an accountant and said that his Business Studies course really helped him on his career path. Good to know. 

Sophie's for breakfast was great, as usual. 

D kindly gave us a lift to the airport accompanied by a selection of Miami, Sailing and Barcelona music selected by Cno1 for the journey. We booked into the Heathrow Hilton in time to watch the England 6 Nations match.  Thrilling. A close game, which is always edge of the seat and even better when  England scored a late try to clinch an unexpected win at the end. Swing Low ...

Then we walked the route to our terminal ready for tomorrow's early flight. We sat in the roof-top garden for a bit on our return to plane watch, which was fun, before retiring to bed (see blip). A good day.
