Village crocus

Another damp and dismal morning. 
Walking back from church I decided to check out the crocus patch around the bus shelter.
We used the bus to Bingley less than two weeks ago and there were no signs of the flowers then but I could see the yellow clumps from across the road today.

Not at their best with no sun to open them though there is one open here in this clump and a couple of blooms that look spent. Decided to use it for my blip as I had to take my life in my hands to cross the road, unusually busy for a Sunday.

I walked back along the edge of the park and was pleased to see lots of daffodils ready to burst forth in a few weeks time when there will probably also be purple crocus by the bus stop.
