The Power to Change!

Another grey and cold day and also another walk that has produced only one photograph!  In the past I have often photographed advertisements in our local bus shelters if they grabbed my attention and today this one did just that.

While continuing to walk the phrase "manners taketh the man" came into my head and I wondered where have I heard that, it came to me - the Kingsman movie.  But I further wondered where it originated from and when I got home google found the answer - The proverb ‘Manners Makyth Man” was the motto of William of Wykeham (1324–1404), bishop of Winchester and chancellor of England.


And all this from a simple add in a bus shelter!
