Shop window

Strange day. Lying in bed, drinking tea, reading the paper, Brown Dog lying on me. Phone rings. It is G the clearance man from SE25. It transpired that there was a cat in the window of my late brother's property in SE25. A big buzz on Facebook. Only I have the keys to the property.
So, reluctantly but of necessity, arose, washed, walked Brown Dog etc etc and set off for the other side of London.

Timings not good for my train at Victoria and the kiosk that sold meat in pastry had been replaced by one that does baguettes- not as nice.

While waiting I tracked down the Facebook post-only by joining some local group. Oddly the cat appeared to have been rescued but as I was at the station I carried on.

Arriving I saw that the window display had been knocked down.

G came by and we agreed, while I appreciate that a cat might have sneaked in I failed to understand how the cat could have been rescued.

I had spoken to the cat owner who had texted the person who had returned it to her asking them to call me as I was curious .

I also tracked down this person on Facebook and sent him a message. But no reply.
All a little worrying as I thought the place was secure and now the local FB group knows it is empty. This adds to my worries.

I did take home three untouched model tank kits which should have some value. I also adjusted the window which is the Blip.

Got home around half six and made us a comforting meal (bacon, cheese and mushroom sauce on a bed of vegetables topped with mashed potato, tomatoes. and parmesan). It was just what we needed and a photo in extras
