Precious eggs. 

Eggs are becoming hard to find, and are spendy.  For weeks grocery stores have been putting limits on how many one can buy at one time.  Often stores are sold out completely.  We were down to our last 3 and I'd struck out nearly all week, but early Saturday morning at Whole Foods the case was full and I was able to get a box.

The last hurrah for the rose, it'd done well.
