Still Flying High

Our after wedding bash finished an hour ago - we're all still flying high after yesterday's beautiful wedding.

Chris and Gina spent their first night together as man and wife in a Shepherd's Hut, on a farm in the middle of nowhere. The farmer brought them their breakfast hamper using his tractor to get up the steep hill and then delivered them safely back to our house for our after wedding bash.

The sun has shone, there's been a gentle breeze and 24 degrees, just perfect. There were many hungover people from last night who somehow managed to keep on topping up this afternoon, hubby included.

The caterers and guests have now left and the big clear up has begun. I'm sitting here with my lap top and a cool glass of chilled sauvignon blanc - and why not I deserve it.


Gina looked stunning in her dress yesterday and the people who were unable to attend yesterday turned up today so it was just perfect that she popped on her dress for them to see.

My blip today just sums up it all for me. I couldn't wish for a better daughter in law who is, even now, still flying high.
