Purple podded peas

Some heavy showers today, I had just got all my gardening stuff out and started work in the garden when the rain came, light at first so I carried on then the heavens opened and by the time I had put everything away I was soaked. A bit of a soggy waste of time.
The purple podded peas came from seed kindly given to me by dear friend Doffy, they look to pretty to eat - but I will.
