Friendship in time of need

Normally I don’t blip food photos but I needed an EB today. I’ve been quite unwell this weekend with exhaustion from the last three weeks’ treatment and a grim cold virus that just will not go away. I thought I was on the mend mid-week but it’s come roaring back. One of my very dear friends has been bringing me various home made dishes for days like this and she makes an amazing spanakopita (food of the gods!) which I baked this evening and served with a lemony courgette salad. What would we do without our kind and generous friends?
