HELLEBORE

The weather has been rainy and grey all day so Ive had a lovely quiet relaxing day indoors staying cosy.  Popped out to feed the birds and got my blip shot.  There are three flowers on my hellebore plant and this is the best one.  The other two are  a bit ragged and rather brown round the edges.

I decided to check out travel to Northallerton in March so I can be at Beckys for the Carabao Cup Final.  I did intend just looking at train times etc but in the end I had to book as there were hardly any trains to choose from.  ( lots of cancellations ) and only one seat left on the one direct train going down. I guess Newcastle fans going to Wembley have already booked their seats so I was lucky to get one.  ( LNER are doing engineering works that weekend and its causing lots of problems )  The trains coming home were no better... no LNER ones during the day with any seats so Ive booked a direct Cross Country one.  Its later in the day than I wanted ... but I had no other choices. Good to get that trip sorted as things will only get more difficult.  .
