Packing Up

Packing up my Sony NEX 3n. It's a lovely little camera (that I heartily recommend), but I just wasn't using it.

One slight problem I have is that I hang onto all the original packaging from ALL my cameras. The one benefit from this is that MPB.com gave me an extra $10 for the camera because of this!

Sadder than packing up the Sony is that I'm doing the same with my beloved Panasonic GM1. This was, for years, my main camera. Regardless of what others may say, this IS the smallest interchangeable lens camera. And because of that, it was great for all the backpacking and hiking I do. But, with my eyes as they are, I need a viewfinder now and the GM1 does not have that. I thought I would hold onto it forever, but the prices on the used market have gone insane and MPB.com is giving me more for this 11 year old camera than I paid for it new. Which will be more than enough to buy a gently used Panasonic G100 which does have a viewfinder.
