or more simply: tick, tock! I went to a friend’s house and she showed me her old metronome. Dating back to the 1840s or thereabouts! It’s beautiful and still works perfectly. We chatted for a while and then I came home to make a sort of cross between an omelette and a pancake.
Good handful of grated carrot,
Handful of grated cheese
1 Chopped shallot
Some frozen peas
1teaspoon Cumin powder
Pepper
The 4 egg whites I had left from making a Gughelhuf
1 whole egg
Olive oil in the pan slurp!
Mix well and cook in the frying pan over low heat turning half way through.
serves 2
I’m sure the ingredients could be changed! any leftover veg would be good garlic, curry powder or herbs,
