Three-in-one

A dull grey day with rain at times and my capture of the trees was similarly dull and grey.

Whenever it is very dull, I will usually take ICMs* if I am in woodland.

First ICM was of trees panned vertically.  The second was of a single large birch trunk with prominent white patches on a dark background, also panned vertically.  Both were then rotated 90 degrees.

The first gave texture to the sky while the latter gave foreground character.

I have added an 'extra' of the original grey scene.


*ICM = Intentional Camera Movement during exposure.
