Mono Monday

I wanted to post my current book by Agatha Christie and wondered how to incorporate it into the Mono theme of beneath. I decided to add the coaster which is beneath the cup of tea (as I couldn't find a spreading Chestnut tree to help out). 

I bought the coasters in Hobart as a gift for my mother and they seem to have migrated back to me. That’s good as I like them (made of Blackwood a Wattle or Acacia melonoxylyon). 

The book is very old fashioned as you would expect and so far there are no murders. 

We had storms all morning (34mm). One nearby town was closed as they had so much hail it flooded the shops as the hail blocked the gutters and the water couldn’t get away. The hail was bulldozed away during the day. It looked like snow but the reporters were all in summer clothes. 

7 for Wordle. Connections was almost achieved, Logic Problems I couldnt get out. So far a pretty ordinary sort of day. Had to have a lie down after washing up, my hip is getting worse. I did a walk around the block and some piano so that’s my day
