Gatherings of sorts

I was the first up after the lateness of yesterday and others in the house followed slowly.

Today has been earmarked for a long time. Although it’s hard, Dot.T had to clear out her stuff from ours today. Our new house is very very lovely and we can’t wait to be there, but it has no storage, and that’s why I’m spending so much time decluttering. But it obviously means we can’t take Dot.T’s stuff with us. So we put all her stuff downstairs from various rooms in the house and from the garage and left her to do it.

After the other guests left, we went dog walking, and then up to London to meet LongLegs and IrishLass and her family, all gathering for a birthday weekend. It was so lovely to see them all. They’re just a lovely family and hope to see them again next summer.

Back home to admire the amazing piles that Dot.T had gathered. A takeaway supper for those 2 and us 3. Tiredness is still reigning all around.
