Beneath

Beneath the new HS2 railway bridge at Wendover, Buckinghamshire runs the A413 road from Aylesbury to London and to the right of the road, not easy to see in the blip, is the Aylesbury to Marylebone network rail line.

The picture also shows the cold, damp and misty morning and the tremendous civil engineering project needed to thread a new railway line through a built up area. This is just one bridge, this complexity is replicated many times between London and Birmingham.
