Saved ...

... not by the bell, but by Son-in-Law Sam.  My trusty Magimix has worked hard over the years but decided to give up the ghost.  I mentioned this in conversation and Sam offered to have a look at it.  He took it apart and 'fiddled about' and Hey Presto! it's working again.  What a star :-)
