Not as Cymbal as You'd Think

We have a brass band competition this coming weekend and I'm helping out on percussion. One of the several instruments that I shall be playing is the suspended cymbal which I've brough home to practice on, yes really. To make an effective roll while controlling the dynamics requires some skill, at least for me.

Bowls roll-up this morning, lunch, Millie pups walkies, popped to the shop and got a black shirt then made a bolognese risotto for tea. We're trying a different cookbook recipe each week and this one was very good.
