Beneath

I decided to return to the clump of osteospermum for the Mono Monday challenge of beneath -- I enjoyed fartnarkling this! Especially now that I have found the Lightroom "select subject" button (also used yesterday).

It was overcast again, but no rain forecast, so a select group of five set off for the weekly walk this afternoon. We walked up to the lake and then did a slightly longer loop than intended to avoid a large flock of sheep and their guard dogs. An enjoyable walk despite the dismal weather, with lots of chat, and not too strenuous. Stats: 5.8 km, 87 m climbing, 1 hour 45 minutes. Full marks from the FitBit, which told me to slow down for the rest of the day. Reading ensued.
