A Lovely Place!

Orleans! Decided on a shorter drive today - 5 hours from Calais, including a semi-circulation of Paris’ périphérique. The weather could not have been filthier but the van held its own in the spray even if we could hardly hear ourselves talk under the rain lashing the windscreen and roof!

The sun came out as we parked up in Orleans, seen here, and walked out to find a place for an earlier dinner. Here’s Dd in front of Joan of Arc’s house and a couple of views of Place Du Martroi!
