Electric Dreams

Fab exhibition at Tate Modern. Don't Miss it if you’re in London. All about the pioneers of "art meets tech" back in the 70s, 80s and 90s. ‘From the birth of op art to the dawn of the internet age, artists found new ways to engage the senses and play with our perception. Electric Dreams celebrates the early innovators of optical, kinetic, programmed and digital art, who pioneered a new era of immersive sensory installations and automatically-generated works." (Tate Modern website)

You even get to play with some balloons. See a few of my images here.

It was a cold and at times wet day and London was quiet, although we saw a couple of tractors that were converging on Westminster to protest the changes to inheritance tax (see extra). The problem is that there are some wealthy landed interests who use the current arrangements as a tax dodge. And any cause that Nigel Farage gets behind is in my view suspect…

Fab evening with our friend M who was passing through on her way back to Brighton, and who came to see Little Miss A and eat Thai food. Baby is thriving by the way - after less than three weeks she is now ahead of the curve and 20% above her birth weight.
