Copped Hall Gardens

This afternoon we visited Copped Hall gardens which had an open day. Picked loads of raspberries, redcurrants and white currants which looked like edible pearls. The walled garden is beautiful and on the other side is a colourful herbaceous border where the flowers are covered in bees, which is good to see. Next open day for the house and gardens is Sun 25th Aug. Interesting to see how the restoration is going. You might even catch a glimpse of Rod Stewart who lives next door !
