Stoical

Felt a need for air, and the cathedral of the hills. Weather forecast was for mild cloudy. I prayed for at least a flash of light or sunshine, and my prayer was answered (main).
We had to face wind, sleet. snow and hail, and I underestimated the challenge of this walk (though to be fair, we had many soup, photography, and breather stops). I reckoned 4 hours, it took us 5+, as predicted by WalkHighlands (5-6 hours).
Gorgeous day out, and Yazz was well behaved throughout (sheep everywhere), and loved it (extra).
Heard my MiL had a nasty fall when we were on the walk-in, and more drama which will doubtless continue. When do you stop walking and doing what you do? I've no answer for that one. Tricky.
