C had booked herself and friends to do a speedboat ride on the Thames from Tower Bridge to the Thames Barrier (no thanks).

Then we discovered it was at exactly the time and place as the London One-day classic cycle race and all the roads were closed. So we allowed tons of time, went on the tube and had lots of relaxed walking-around time..
