Holiday Reading

A bit premature, as I'm not on holiday yet, but here are the books I've been given or recommended to read.

Beewriter recommended The Light Between Oceans; Kate is one of the many people who have told me that An Instance of the Fingerpost is their favourite book ever and it is set in Oxford so doubly recommended on that count; and Camilla gave me the Hundred-Year Old Man and may we be forgiven. I've a pile of Pamuk's books but never read one yet, so time to get to grips with him. Finally, I heard about a fascinating novel called Tulip Fever by Deborah Moggagh which turns out to be available on the BBC as an audio recording.... (update: I've just realised they are no longer available on iPlayer)
