Wainui

Rain overnight and drizzle this morning, after breakfast with Joe, we left him to it for the day and headed off to Wainui and the bush.a magnificent walk through exotic and colossal trees leads to a spectacular waterfall and involves a quite wobbly suspension bridge. The noise of the cicadas was deafening and the greenery full of birds. Afterwards we went on to Wainui beach and had the whole place to ourselves and a swim was enjoyed. A quick snack and then back to Joe's, Esme now back from school. We drew, made a few jigsaws, played shops and ate pasta bake, thank you Joe. 
Esme at her mum's till Sunday now, so a few days recuperation,!
